Money, money, money.... and my dream car.

Money, money, money, in the rich man's world... just the other day I asked myself, how to get more money. I want a new car, I want to buy this, I want to buy that, but when i dip inside my deep pocket, DUH... i can't find the bottom of my pocket, then, I can't find the extra money lurking at the bottom of my pocket.

My hubby said you make some handicrafts and sell it. I said, I can make it, but I can't guarantee that I will have the time to do all those. Then, came the quote of the day, "What a contradicting idea! You want extra money, but you couldn't guarantee your commitment to find extra money". Then I think back, yea.. right.. it's true. Or maybe I don't have that strong urgency. Where there is a will, there is a way. Sorry, babe. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough.

Why did all this money talk come about? It's all about meeting my dream car.

What's my dream car? It must be affordable, practical, have very, I mean very economical fuel consumption.. petrol price seems to be soaring non-stop nowadays. Not necessarily good looking but must be practical and comfortable inside. Cause when you travel in the car, you are in the car. Not outside admiring it. Ugly car will not invite people to come near it. Looks does not matter, it's what inside that's matter, right?

When I first saw Toyota Avanza, I thought this probably will be my next car... not until i meet Hyundai Tucson... "poof", Avanza has sped past me. I am now in Hyundai Tucson overtaking the Avanza.. good bye Avanza. How much is the Tucson? Again, "poof" my dream bubble burst because there's no budget for that amount of burden (loan). I just can't imagine myself paying that much of money when the same amount can get me an apartment. Well, not until I have extra budget for it. Life is all about living within the budget and you'll be safe.

Meanwhile, I would still stick to my ever dependable 9-year Perodua Kancil. It can tipu people with its look, very "awet muda" because of the constant love and care from me. Very sporty - with two small spotlight in front. I will not sell this car. It will grow old with me, hopefully.

I'm paying for my dream house, that's why a new car is taking lower priority. I will introduce my new house soon. Watch out, for the blog featuring my dream house in Lavender Heights. With mountain view and all.

If you want big money you must smell it. Take some money and then inhale. Money has its own fragrance. Get you to some money now.

Snapping out,
