Adventure of Dayung Sangon: From Pulau Indah to Pasir Gudang
I have really rocked my boat. Working in new location, leave my hubby in KJ. Dunno how long this will last. It has been exactly 1 month I work in PG. Staying in an 3-room apartment all by myself. Imagine the whole place, all for me... but I really miss my hubby in KJ, miss my room in KJ, miss my books in KJ, miss our new house with the scenic mountain view in Lavender Heights.
There's so many things happening in my life this year. New house in Lavender Heights, new job with new responsibilities in Pasir Gudang, new rented apartment, start driving manual car - Proton Iswara (no CD player in Iswara!), leave Kancil in Seremban, my father retired and now busy rebuilding house in Kuching.
The first week of driving the manual Iswara, it was terrifying. I'm not used to the coordination - the clutch, the brake and the accelerator. My car became "kereta kuda" (horse carriage) due to the non stop jerking. My car "died" at the traffic light, imagine driving at the slope with Gear 3.... that's when I learn that i have to use Gear 2. I felt so terrified and stressed that I am so relieved and grateful to be alive everytime I arrive home. I stopped driving the manual car after I side swipe a stationary car blocking our Condominum exit road 5 years ago. Since then, I only drive the auto Kancil. Now after 1 month, I can drive to work, from work, go to Jaya Jusco in Permas Jaya and come back. I am not that adventurous to travel into Johor Bharu yet. Slowly..... One day, I will drive back to Seremban! I'll write about it.
As for my dream home in Lavender Heights, we call it our retirement home. Looking forward to retirement. Maybe early retirement, but my retirement fund is sooo low. Next year, I will be 30 years old. I am going to live my 20s to the fullest. Say out what I think, do what I always wanted to do.. 30s will be the next phase in my life. But just wait until next year. 30s will be a life with family and the little ones... I hope. Time to plan the execution of my long delayed wedding reception. So many things to look forward to in my 30s. But my 20s is the time I build my life foundation with my wonderful hubby. Good job, good house, good family and friends. So far, so good....
