My Kancil and dilemma to buy new car

I still love my 9-year old Kancil. I saved Petrol money, saved on maintenance, it's just enough for me, CD player installed. It's all my basic car requirement. But now, I travel approximately 130km daily during work day. My Kancil must be screaming and complaining by now. Even though well maintained and well groomed but the long distance travel is taking its toll on my Kancil. The road condition is not helping too; wavy road and potholes after the KESAS Highway to Westport,Pulau Indah.

Sharing the road with gigantic and the horrific cargo trailers.

Everyday with my Kancil is a pleasant journey, but everyday I will hear the Kancil's belt screeching, the suspension complaining. My managers have been asking me non-stop, "When are you going to get a new car?"

A new car other than Kancil will mean I have to pay for:
a. higher petrol allocation (50%- 70% increase from my current budget)
b. higher engine oil allocation (30% to 50% increase)
c. higher maintenance cost (50%-150% increase)
d. monthly installment (I have never paid for any car monthly installment in my whole life). Depending on the car brand it will rip me off 20 to 25% of my income.
e. higher car wash allowance... (increase between RM1 to RM2)

Maybe I should find part time business or make use of my hobbies to pay for my car. Some people say, just go ahead and buy. But I think, I must find something that suits my budget without burning holes in my pocket. Dig into my pocket some more... I must patch the hole!
